Instead of buying storebought granola, you can make healthy granola at home that lasts a long time when stored in a big, airtight, glass jar. You can exchange ingredients, but just make sure the total measurements are the same.

Ingredients
4cupsold-fashioned oats
1cupraw pumpkin seeds
1cupwhole cashewsroughly chopped
1cupraw almondsroughly chopped
1/2cuppecansroughly chopped
1/2cupraw sunflower seeds
1/4 - 1/2cupcoconut flakesoptional
1/2cupmaple syrup
2teaspoonspumpkin pie spice or cinnamonoptional
1/2teaspoonsea salt
1-2Tablespoonsavocado oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine ingredients well.
Spread granola over TWO (2) large baking trays. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Stir mixture and switch trays on oven shelves. Bake another 15 minutes. If the oats, cashews, and coconut flakes are golden brown, the granola ready to remove from the oven. Allow to cool fully.
(Optional) Add dried fruit (like juice-sweetened dried cranberries) and nondairy, vegan dark chocolate chips to the mixture before storing in an airtight container.
