One-Pan Chocolate Oats
These one-pan chocolate oats are super easy to make! Serve them with fresh berries or berry syrup for a delightful twist!

Ingredients
- 1 very ripe banana
- 6 Medjool dates pitted
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened plant-based milk I used soy
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 Tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 2 T cacao powder
- 2-4 Tablespoons dairy-free chocolate chips for sugar-free, use one-ingredient cacao chips
- Sprinkle of flaked sea salt optional
- Drizzle of runny tahini optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven or toaster oven to 350 degree.
- Blend the dates with the water until smooth and creamy (using a cup blender works best). Place date paste in square baking dish (8×8) along with the ripe banana and mash together well with a fork. Pour in the milk and stir together well.
- Add the oats, ground flaxseed, and cacao powder, and mix together well.
- Add in the chocolate chips and stir one more time to incorporate.
- Spread mixture evenly across the baking dish.
- Top with a sprinkle of flaked sea salt and a drizzle of tahini.

- Bake for 30 minutes or until desired consistency.
